Chris's sister, Brianne, and her husband, Ross, came out to visit for the week. Being from Seattle, we had to do the trip up to New York. (What other reason is there to fly coast to coast?) Ross totally came through and landed us a great nights sleep....Rockefeller Hotel! We were right in the middle of Manhattan. It was so much fun. We literally walked out of our hotel and were on the corner of 5th ave and blocks from Times Square. The weather held out for us so we were able to enjoy our weekend without rain or snow.
We had real "New York pizza" and it was delish. Of course, I made everyone stop in at Magnolia Bakery to mack on some cupcakes. I got a pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting....heaven on earth! Chris doesn't like cake, and he said...and I quote "that tis the best thing that I have ever had in my mouth." They really do have all the bomb frostings.
We of course did all of the touristy things while we were there too. *Pictures doing the most mundane things at famous places. * We did have a blast though, and it was great to spend time with Beaner and Rosco.
